Product Review: ShaToBu Body Shaper

Fall 2011 button

Have you heard of the ShaToBu body shaper?

This new body shaper is the workout you wear while you go about your normal everyday activities!

ShaToBu instantly gives a sleeker silhouette, and by incorporating resistance bands right into the garment, muscles work a little harder and more calories are burned during daily activities, while it is being worn. Over time, and regular use, you can see and feel a difference in your body!

Check out the science behind the shaper:

I was sent the Mid-Thigh Shaper for review:
  •  The perfect body shaper for trouble spots in the derriere or thighs
  • Eliminates visible panty lines and bulges
  • Soft, luxurious fabric offers ultimate everyday comfort
  • Mid-thigh length offers flexibility to wear with shorter skirts and dresses

Review: I definitely liked the shorter length, as it made them more comfortable to wear under any type of pants of skirts. I was glad I had ordered a size up, as they would not have fit otherwise! If you are borderline, order up! I'm not fond of shapers as I have always found them too constricting, but the ShaToBu fabric is definitely light weight and stretchy, and was much better than others I have tried in the past. I would say that it definitely takes you down a size, as it smoothes you out. Did I get as GREAT of a difference as these photos on the left? No, but like I said, going down a whole size and being smoothed was enough for me!

As to whether it really helped LOOSE weight, that I'm not too sure on. My weight fluctuated up and down about 5 pounds during the test period, so it is possible, just can't really SAY that they did!

If you are looking for a firm shaper that does what it says re lines and bulges, then definitely check out ShaToBu!

Update: This post didn't go live when it was supposed to back in September, which I just realized when I went hunting for it-arrghhh! While checking email,  I just noticed today that the ShaToBu shapers are on SALE on Zulilly for  ONE THIRD their price- yup UNDER $15! So if you're interested in trying one, now is a good time to order one!
