Product Review: Sheer Cover Extra Length Mascara

Fall 2011 button

Well it's October, the time of Halloween and specialty makeup, but it's also the time when the traditional makeup companies come out with new products! So I am thrilled to offer this, the first of a couple makeup product reviews this week!

My Mom has used Sheer Cover Mineral makeup since it came out, and she swears by the mascara, so I was interested in trying this new version.

The new Sheer Cover Extra Length Mascara is a long-lasting, water resistant, volume mascara with anti-aging benefits. It immediately thickens and extends lashes while moisturizing with Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E. It helpe condition and hydrate the lashes with extracts from Bamboo and Olive, for added brilliance. Its creamy formula provides a high color intensity and easy application. This mascara is designed to prevent breakage, while instantly making thinning lashes look fuller. The result?  Full, thick and long eye lashes without clumping!

This is a pretty unassuming mascara! It really does do the job it says it does! And I've really picky about mascara, as I have sensitive eyes!

The wand is smaller than normal and really lets you get super close to the eyelash roots, providing better coverage from root to tip! I have yet to have ANY clumping with it, even after 3 weeks of use! It isn't waterproof, but it holds up like it is! I did ALOT of crying the past month, and not only did it not run, it didn't flake either. I was REALLY impressed, as it doesn't feel heavy when you have it on!  Yet, It washes off easily with my makeup remover, or even basic soap and water! I don't get a 'false eyelash look', but my lashes look fuller and the thinning areas aren't as noticeable, and that's good enough for me! The color isn't super black, so I tend to do a light coat, then go back with another, to darken the lashes more. The result is really a 'natural look' that I am very happy with!

I would definitely buy and use this mascara, as my everyday mascara! Check it out and you'll agree it's with buying my mail order!
