Book Review and Giveaway:City of Whispers by Marica Muller

You've read reviews of Muller's books here on this blog, and I was quite happy to review her latest on in the Sharon McCone series!

Synopsis:

Review: I always love the books in the McCone series, as they take me back to San Francisco, the city of my college days. She always finds the unique places that you know, or that you know which she is talking about, but gave it a different name. She captures the mood of the city in it's very essence, and McCone is the perfect character for it.

This was a VERY quick read! I had no intention of reading more than 2 chapters and 2 hours later I found I had read the WHOLE book! That's THE definition of a SUPER quick read to me! But it also tells you HOW much of a page turner the book is! Muller keeps to her style of alternating chapters from different character's views, which gives you more info at one time, than the characters have! Yet, she always finds a way to surprise you at the end! For instance, I had figured out who the suspect was, but I had the WHY wrong. So the ending was still satisfying to me!

Like all her books, you can jump right in, as she gives you enough background to know who all the characters are (though I highly recommend reading the whole series). If you like a quick enjoyable mystery, this book is for you!

Ready to win it for yourself?
It would also be a great Christmas gift!
