Product Review: Tyler's Coffee

Ahhhh, coffee. As you know, one of my favorite addictions.

So when I have the opportunity to try new brands or blends, I eagerly raise my hand!

If you drink a lot of coffee, the one thing you look for is a coffee that has less bite, less acid. It makes for a smoother cup of coffee, and a more flavorable one. You'll need less cream and sugar- which most people use to disguise the bitterness, from the high acid coffees.

So when I heard about Tyler's Coffee, which uses a “Z-Roasting” process that optimizes the time the coffee beans (South American Arabica) are cooked, resulting is high levels of caffeine that are free of acid, I knew I had to try it!

What are the health benefits of an acid free coffee?

  • tooth enamel is protected and teeth are stronger, leading to fewer cavities.
  • acid levels in coffee, as well as impurities and resins, may wreak havoc on the digestive tract.
  • acidic coffee can creative a major flareup in subjects with Interstitial Cystitis (IC), and cause more problems for their ulcer bladders.
Did you know that?

Tyler's figured it out and the way to make a great cup of coffee, free of acid!

They recommend making the coffee in a French Press for true flavor. Not having one, I went with the alternative method, of half of a perk pack, with 5 cups of PURIFIED water (tap water is NOT recommended, as the additives in it can work against the coffee). The results: WOW. Talk about a caffeine jolt! It was like drinking a pure cup of coffee java- robust and in your face! It was like night and day, from my normal coffee. I had energy for over an hour, easy! I noticed that the coffee stayed at full strength, even with sitting in a carafe.

Tyler's comes in Regular and Decaf, and you can also get a sample pack for about $5 (with shipping), to try before you buy the big packs, which will keep you for either a week, or by the month. They also have weekly and monthly subscription plans.

If you're looking for a PURE cup of coffee, check out Tyler's!
