Product Review and Giveaway: Uncommon Goods Fun Pack and $50 Uncommon Goods Gift Certificate

When it comes to unique and odd catalogue, and/or companies, I seem to have a knack for finding them. Now their items may not be in my price range, but they always spark creativity and ideas, if nothing else. One of the companies that did fit my criteria, and that I have shopped from for great gifts before is Uncommon Goods

They offer a great selection of modern, creative and enjoyable items, for everybody on your list! This includes fun toys (including items perfect for birthdays!), office supplies, unique home decor items, great looking entertaining pieces, jewelry (including some great gift ideas here, think Valentine's ya'll) that are works of art, including wearable art, and even books to get your own creativity flowing! I never fail to find the PERFECT gift at Uncommon Goods for the hard to find for person!

So when I recently had the chance to review a Family Fun Pack of items from Uncommon Goods, I was more than happy to raise my hand and say "PUHLEASE pick me"! I'm not sure who was more thrilled to have been selected, me or Kiddo! Our fun set included a Portable Ping Pong Set, Fingerprint Art Set and an Emergency Clown Nose! Something for everybody!

kiddo with clown nose
Kiddo was quick to pull the clown nose out and try it out! She thinks it's a hoot and loves to go pull it out, put it on and surprise people. We always get a laugh over it. It left the game bag and is residing with her toys now! It would be a great stress reliever at the office too!

ping pong set
The ping pong set is super cool and PERFECT for keeping kids occupied during vacations! It is uber-portable and super easy to set up. A friend has a fold up ping pong table and while it's nice to have, even folded up it takes up a LOT of space. This set takes up the same amount of room as 2 small bags of coffee! Everything comes in a super carry bag, so you can keep it in the car, or in your travel bag with ease.

ping pong set 2All you do is take everything out of the bag. Extend the handles on the paddles (by pulling them out). Remove the 2 ping pong balls from inside the post, then unwind the net from the post and spread your post to span the table you will be using. Done in one minute flat! The paddles work great and the posts are heavy enough to keep the net in place, even with a hard hit! We have thoroughly enjoyed using the set (sorry, hard to take pix when you're playing!), and it will definitely get alot more use once the weather warms and we can play outside (Kiddo has a tendency to bounce balls high and wide!).

Putting the set up is just as easy. Put the 2 balls back in the empty post. Then rewind the net back into the other post. Push in the handles on the paddles, and put everything back in the bag. Easy Peasy! This is a super set to own!

stamp set 1

Kiddo's enthusiasm has been more for the last item- the thumb print art set! Four year olds and stamp pads have a great love affair! Kiddo received a couple of art pads for Christmas, so she was ready to go, as soon as we opened the set!

stamp set 2
The set has 3 stamp pads, a set of colored pencils and mini stamps, which include shoes, faces and a crown. Everything a kid with a great imagination needs! As you can see, Kiddo had fun and greatly enjoyed making up a story to go with her pictures! If you need a present for a young girl, this set with some art pads of paper, would be just the perfect thing!

We had alot of fun with the gift pack, and are still using it! It would be a great pack to put together when you take the kids off on vacation, or during a stay-cation!  Want to put together your own set? Uncommon Goods is offering a BTHM reader a $50 Uncommon Goods Gift Certificate, to make their own Family Fun Set!
