Product Review: Roots Only Applicator

If you dye your hair at home, you probably have the issue most of us do.

Your roots need touch up after 2 weeks, but the rest of your hair doesn't.

You can go buy a one of those root application kits, for 3/4 the price of a regular kit (and you get less than 1/2 of the product!), OR you buy a regular kit, and split in half, and half to use a brush and bowl, which can get messy.

How easy is it to use? You just take the comb top off, fill the bottle with HALF the amount of hair dye from a regular kit. Cover the comb ends with your plastic gloved hand, shake the contents and you're ready to go! All you do is squeeze, as you run the comb through your hair, and the dye gets to your roots and scalp! Now on trouble areas, you may need to squeeze some out into your hand to make sure you saturate all the hair tips(like around your face). Easy peasy! As you can see from the photo, the comb covers a good area at one time! I actually finished the quickest I ever have, just doing my roots! Cleanup was a breeze as well- just hot water. I did find that you need to FILL the bottle with hot water (twice), turn upside down and squeeze the water through the tips, in order to get all the hair dye from the last 2 tips on each side. But even that only took a minute!

I am greatly impressed with the applicator and bottle, and will definitely be using it every time I just need to touch up my roots!
