Synopsis:  Grandmas today come in different shapes and sizes. They do different jobs and have different hobbies. They even go by different names! But one thing all Grandmas have in common is the love and wisdom they have to share and no one says that better than this rhyming celebration of the modern Grandma. From the nagging Grandmas and the braggingGrandmas to the cooking Grandmothers and the good-looking Grandmothers, this book covers them all. For children who don’t have a Grandma to call their own, this book suggests you find one on loan. And when you’ve found the one you call Grandma, act grown up and wise; tell her you love her, it’s there in your eyes.

Review: We had a great language lesson when we started reading the book, as there is a FULL page of Grandma and how it is said in about 50 languages! We barely got past that page! Kiddo loved going through the book and talking about things that she does with her Meme and Grandmas! The rhyme is endearing and the illustrations adorable (the one below was Kiddo's fav, cause Meme always plays pretend with her!).

It is a wonderful book to give to a Grandma, from their grandchild/grandchildren, for Mother's Day. Kids can personalize the front and back cover pages with drawings, and make it even more special for Grandma! And one they can happily read together, again and again!

We highly recommend it!
