Product Review: Makeup Primers, aka Blemish and Foundation Creams

I was able to review 2 different creams this past month and I wanted to share about them, as one of them might fit needs that YOU might be having, or will with the upcoming Summer months!

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. CreamFirst up is: Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream

About it: Save time with just one multi-benefit product that offers advanced skincare and immediate skin perfecting coverage. This hybrid formula renews radiance, brightens complexion, evens skin tone, hydrates and protects with SPF 15 UVA and UVB sunscreen. Get results you can see and feel instantly. 2 formulas: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark.

Review: I LOVE THIS CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously- it really evens out your skin tone and hydrates your skin at the same time. I've swapped to using it full time as my foundation. And because it has the sunscreen in it, I even use it with nothing else. It's perfect for days when you need to even out some redness (hello over 40 version of roscacea), but don't want to wear full make up! Trust me, once you try this cream you will be SOLD on how wonderful it is!

The second cream I got to review was: Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40

Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40AboutA sheer mineral formula, offering elegance and superior sun protection, in a silky matte finish. A cosmetically elegant physical sunscreen helps prevent pre-mature skin aging, sun-induced wrinkles and loss of firmness. This lightly-tinted formulation works very well as a daily makeup primer, it matches beige to mid-tone skin tones.

Review:  Things I like about the creme include the fact that is SPF 40, which means I don't have to apply sunscreen under it when I'm out all day, the natural skin tone color which means no odd coloration. It is VERY light on your skin, and seems to soak into the skin very easily, leaving a silky feeling. Plus, a little goes a long way.

I generally use this cream on my off days, when I'm around the house or just running Kiddo to school/errands in town. I feel better having the SPF and the light coverage, just makes me feel better having something on my skin! if I'm going to be wearing additional make up though, I'll opt for the BB cream above for better coverage.

Additionally, it is water resistant for up to 80 minutes, meaning it's perfect for light Summer coverage by the pool or at the beach!

Overall: I love BOTH of these creams, and use them alternately. They have both found pernament locations in my make up bag! Check them out and I'm sure you'll agree!

Disclosure / Disclaimer: I received both products for review purposes, free of charge, from the Amazon Vine Program and the BzzAgent program! No other compensation, monetary or in kind, has been received or implied for this post. Nor was I told how to post about it
