Welcome to our stop on the "Hurry Less, Worry Less for Moms" Blog Tour!
Synopsis: Busy moms know the feeling. They’re constantly trying to fit everything – work, laundry, family fun, shuttle service, you name it – into 24-hours. They want to enjoy each day with their family but sometimes feel like they’re in quicksand and don’t know how to get started on a new path.
Judy Christie offers hope, inspiration, practical ideas and reminders of how important it is to step back and take a fresh look at your life in Hurry Less, Worry Less for Moms. The book includes a study guide for group or individual use.

Take a deep breath and refresh your life or that of a busy mom you know with chapters such as:
- A Map for Mom: Being the person you are meant to be
- Organization versus Procrastination
- Prayerful Not Fretful
- Making Choices, Facing Changes.
Review: The premise of the book is that we need to STOP and ask ourselves, what do WE like and what do WE want to change, while remembering that we can NOT do everything, we are not perfect (only God is), God is here to support and care for you, IF you ask for help, and listen to the reply.
Each chapter has a story, ideas to ponder, bible passages to support the author's wisdom and Busy Mom's Tip for slowing down and breathing. An example of a perfect quote from the book, to me: " Reflecting on the past is not about regrets, roads not taken, or bad decisions. It is about considering what worked-and what you might need to do differently." Pretty profound when you think about it. As simple as restructuring how we remember, to change the future. Did you feel that sigh of relief? I;m sure you did!
This is a wonderful book and perfect for daily reading, it would also be wonderful for a women's bible study, or book review group, and I am quite happy to offer it to a BTHM!

About the Author: Judy Christie loves to help busy people slow down and enjoy each day more – in her series of novels about Green, Louisiana, and her Hurry Less Worry Less nonfiction books. Judy started her writing career as the editor of The Barret Banner in elementary school and has kept a journal since she was nine (and still has all of them). She likes wandering around flea markets, walking in the park near her North Louisiana home and visiting friends and family on her vintage green Kitchen Couch. Her most recent books are “Downtown Green,” fifth in the Green series, and this book. You can visit her website at www.judychristie.com.
