Former FBI Cybercrime special agent turned small-town Chief of Police, Cooper Chance, gets caught with his pants down and his family jewels tucked in pink ladies’ underwear with lacy frills when he meets the woman of his dreams. That’s not his only issue. The woman has a fear of cops. If he can get past her guard, maybe he can save her life.
Review: This is a fun little book, that is perfect for a by the pool/beach/vacation read! The pull between the 2 main characters is clever and you wish Cooper was real! I liked that Jane was a very strong character, even is she had a neurosis to get around (which was a perfectly understandable one). You may see where some of the story is going, but there is still enough turns to keep you reading! The story is a quick read, and I finished most of it in one sitting! So don't be surprised is you start reading it, and have to finish it in one sitting!
