Review: Like the partner book, Stuff Every Mom Should Know that we reviewed last month, this book takes you from infanthood, to the preschool years, to the teen years and beyond. In fact, I highly recommend giving both books as a set to an expectant couple at a baby shower- not only will they be very helpful, it's nice to give DAD a gift as well!

I loved that the Essential Items in a Daddy Diaper Bag actually included a illustration! Men are more visual, so it's perfect! The Songs to Sing to Your Child is great, as not everyone can remember the top 5 kids songs from memory.I had to laugh over How to Fix a Boo-Boo, as Step One was to "apply lots of kisses and hugs! And of course, it is Dad's Job to Get Rid of Monsters in a Room (the how- to is very cute). There are also 'manly' topics like teaching your child to ride a bike, outside play and how to make a sandcastle! The section on teaching your child to drive, and what to do if they get a ticket or in an accident may be scary, but it covers the basics very well.

In short, this is a very good little primer, that will get the Dad-to-be, or newly single dad, some ideas for thought and the future. We highly recommend it!
