Synopsis: An inspirational book for young girls and teens, that is full of inspiring quotes and encouraging words from successful women like Tory Johnson of Good Morning America and Heather Allard, founder of the Mogul Mom. Pink Lemonade shows girls how to turn life's lemons into sweet lemonade by empowering them to follow their dreams, build their inner strength and believe in themselves. Perfect for moms of girls, too, Pink Lemonade will help moms boost their daughters' self esteem and encourage them through life’s journey. Pink Lemonade is refreshing and full of positive energy.

Review: As every Southern girl learns, there is always something to be learned from any bad episode in one's life. It is something we learn early on, so the title immediately caught my attention. This is a wonderful book for moms to read with their daughters! Our society is constantly pushing our little girls to act and dress YEARS older than they are, and are emotionally ready to be. They need to know that they can slow DOWN and enjoy their childhood, to embrace adventures and learn from them.

I think my favorite quote is: In order for you to believe in yourself, you have to know who you are believing in. You’ll find her in your sweet innocence and eventual inner strength, and you’ll never feel lost again. The person that you will one day become is already inside you. She is a powerful

Isn't that great? I think we should put in on a plaque and put it in our daughter's bathrooms or bedrooms, so they can see it everyday!

Do we as mothers add to our kids' confusion when we keep telling them they can be anything they want to be, and then don't offer constant reassurance that they can fail and learn from their mistakes? This book will remind us, that we need to encourage and support constantly, not just in platitudes, but in daily modeling of our own lives! We need to be our daughters' daily cheerleader, the one person always there for them, no matter what. If we are, then are daughters will be amazing adults!

So pick up a copy of this book if you don't win one, and share it with your daughter- discuss the ideas with her and her friends. Offer support without criticism, and fill their "glass of lemonade until it overflows with love"!

Note: This book will be on Amazon and B & N in a few weeks, right now it is ONLY available on Smilegram Paper's website!
