Book Review: My Bad Parent by Troy Osinoff

Parenting books are running rampant right now,
and I'm glad to see alot of them are humorous, 
as you need humor to get through the first two years, don't you?

Synopsis: What’s better for a toddler—a standard or retractable leash? What is the right time to introduce a child to political extremism? How many feet in the air is it permissible to launch a child? What is the proper size paint bucket used as a motorcycle’s sidecar, or the best age for your daughter to get her first tramp stamp?

These are some of the toughest issues in modern parenting today, and MY BAD PARENT by Troy Osinoff offers and exposes the least effective techniques for raising healthy, balanced children (unless one literally wants to balance them) and guides parents through the high adventure of raising a child to adulthood—or at least until the kid can do a keg stand all by himself.

MY BAD PARENT explores modern parenting tips such as:

• How to choose your child’s first psychological trauma specialist
• Teaching your toddler how to share the 54-oz. milk shake
• Creating an awesome baby chair out of duct tape and a wall
• Firearm safety for tots
• Drastically reducing your household cell phone bill the bad parent way
• Bitch, Please: Teaching your child how to talk some serious shit

Review: This book is based on Tony's website, mybadparent.com, and the many many photos and videos that were submitted by his loyal followers! The candid color photographs will either make you laugh hysterically, or wonder at how many bad parents can possibly at any given Wal-mart at any moment! Those latter ones you'll be hoping somebody called children services about too!

The book is beyond amusing and would be a great practical joke baby shower gift! Hint: include a roll of duct tape.  Check it out and get your does of laughter!
