We needed some wall Halloween decor,
and Kiddo needed something to keep her occupied (for at least 5 minutes0 last week, while she was off for Fair vacation, so off to Pinterest I went.
And this is what I found:
From Southern Fried Gal, 2 canvases using handprints and footprints!
Liked the idea, but I know my kid, so we started with canvas paper and went from there.
I took some pix of Kiddo doing the prints,
but apparently when she went to take pix with my phone
she erased them...SIGH
But here is what we ended up with:
The Happy Crafter
(from Day Three, when we finished):
The first print, before I finished cutting off the backing edge paper.
Our paint paper was smalled than the canvas boards we picked up,
so instead of painting them,
we decided to use some scrap paper and add decorative borders.
I love how they match and when we put them on the wall over each other,
will look very nice indeed!
It's hard to see, but we also added some glow in the dark paint
to both the webbing on the first painting (along with the
spider's eyes!)
and then to the ghost, 'Boo' and some of the dots,
on the second painting.
This was definitely a thumbs up craft from Kiddo!
So it's a Pinterest No Fail!
