Why does the header say for a party?

Because this cheesecake will serve 30 people!

Yup, perfect for your Halloween party, or to take to work tomorrow!

Mom's Pumpkin CheeseCake for a Crowd

Ingredients:
4 lbs. cream cheese
3 cps brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp all spice
1/3 cp molasses
1/3 cp maple syrup
1 3/4 cp sour cream
5 cps pumpkin puree (where those inards go to!)
12 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
pinch of Kosher salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream together cream cheese and dry ingredients.
3. Add syrup, molasses and sour cream/
4. Add the rest of the ingredients, mixing thoroughly
5. Place in water bath in an oiled pan large enough to hold batter (we tend to use our 11x8 pans, set in 13x 9 glass baking dish that is bigger, with water no more than half way up the pan),, til done in the center, about an hour.
6. Remove from oven and run a knife around edge of cake to loosen from pan. Cool to room temperature on a wire rack. Slice and serve, or refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.for serving the nest day. It is best to slice when it is cold.
7. you can drizzle with maple syrup OR caramel ice cream sauce, if desired.
