Ah the holiday season...........
Aka, "oh no, the carpet" season....
You know it's coming, so be prepared, and reduce the stress!
I have been a long time fan of Carbona Stain removing products, so I was thrilled to be asked to review their latest product, Carbona 2 in 1 Oxy Powered Carpet Cleaner! AHA, a possible answer to those upcoming holiday stains!
The new Carbona 2 in 1 Oxy Powered Carpet Cleaner is an industrial strength formula for tough stains and spills; The Carbona difference is in the built-in brush applicator, which helps the formula to create a hard-working foam that penetrates, and breaks down, and removes stains. The unique brush-top makes it possible to do a one-step cleaning process. You just squeeze to get the cleaning liquid onto your stain, use the brush to scrub, and you are done!
On an oet stain that just occurred (thanks to having one furball of a cat, that thinks she need to be the cleanest cat on the planet, with the 'upcoming' results), the Carbona 2 in 1 Oxy Powered Carpet Cleaner really did it's job! One quick application and 10 minutes later you couldn't even see where it had occurred at! And no lingering smell! Woo hoo!
But It can even work to remove stubborn older stains, but it does work best on fresh. The formula may be strong, but it is gentle on hands, and safe to use around children and pets (something we always look for!). In fact, when you remove the odor and bacteria, you can discourage repeat pet accidents in that area.
So I thought why not try it on an older stain and see just how good it is. So here's the before pix (brought to you courtesy of one 5 yr old running with a juice box in one hand and cup of coca cola in the other, and tripping over her own two feet). Note: TWO other stain removers had been used previously on it with NO effect:
And after only one application of the new Carbona 2 in 1 Oxy Powered Carpet Cleaners, here's is what it looked like:
These photos have NOT been retouched. It really did lighten THAT much in only one use! So I know that if I treat it 1/2 more times, it should be almost unnoticeable. WHEW!
I am definitely impressed with how well the new cleaner works, and we will definitely be keeping it on hand to get us through the holiday season and the potential accidents just waiting to appear on the horizon!
The cleaner is also available in a 48 oz container, so you can refill the initial container/brush set.
