Have you shopped at Walgreen's lately? If so, you may have seen some beige bottle with the brand OLOGY on them, and wondered who and what they were.

We were recently given the chance to try our choice of the new Ology products, and I wanted to share a bit about the company, before giving you my review.

Ology, the first nationally accessible and affordable brand formulated to be free of harmful chemicals for a healthier home. Ology features a line of baby and personal care products, as well as household cleaners that are free of harmful chemicals. In addition, Ology offers light bulbs and 100% tree-free paper products.

Healthy Child Healthy World has partnered exclusively with Walgreens (also available at Duane Reade stores), to offer consumers the varied products. Their mission is protecting children from harmful chemicals.“Increasing evidence shows that the chemicals included in everyday products could be contributing to children’s diseases and behavioral disorders, including asthma, autism and cancer.Until the U.S. adopts better regulations around product safety—like we do in other countries—parents are left to bear the burden of protecting their children’s health by educating themselves and making conscious purchases", says their CEO Gigi Lee Chang.

After looking at the varied Ology products, we selcted 3 for review:

baby shampoo ology1. All in One Soothing Baby Wash & Shampoo Lavender & Chamomile-
Gentle and natural formula to cleanse and protect baby's delicate skin & hair, with no parabens, silicones, dyes, phthalates or animal byproducts. Bottle made from 100% post-consumer materials.

Kiddo loves her new shampoo! With her long hair, we've found that the typical kids shampoos can be very drying and leave her with lots and lots of tangles. So back to baby shampoo we went, and since she has always adored the smell of lavender and chamomile, so she instantly agreed to trying the shampoo once she smelled it! I was very impressed with how well it cleaned her hair, and how smooth and tangle free it left her hair. Plus it can double as body wash, always a plus!.AND you gotta love the price, which is under $3!

2.  2X Liquid Fabric Softener Spring Lavender & Vanilla- this softener leaves clothes comfy and snuggly, without leaving a waxy residue on your fabrics. Containing no dyes, phosphates or artificial fragrances, it's gentle on clothing & gentle for your skin. HE and conventional machine compatible, with no hlorine bleach or formaldehyde added, no animal testing and bottle made from 100% post consumer materials

ology laundry fabric softener
Can I get an EWWWWW? I certainly did not know that formaldehyde was in fabric softener! As I said, Kiddo and I love the scent of lavender and vanilla, so we were pretty psyched about trying out the softener. I tried it on a load of Kiddo's blankets first and we both loved the softness and smell! Then we tried it on a load of delicates, many of which were hung to dry, and again the clothes were soft and just seemed  'better'. As the product is free of all the chemicals, including wax, I then tried it on a load of towels. I was happy to discover that the towels still absorbed water as before, and were great smelling. AHA a fabric softener you CAN use on towels. Woo hoo! The Fabric Softener also comes in Free and Clear, for those who want a scent free version. AND the laundry detergeant comes in both 'scents', so your laundry can all smell the same! AT under $7, it may seem pricey, but you get 33 loads, so it works out pretty well, cost wise.

3. All-Purpose Cleaner Lavender and Lemon-A natural spray for kitchen counters, stove tops, and most household surfaces, to clean and shine. Contains no harsh solvents, dyes or ammonia, so it is safe for you and your family.  Cuts through grease and grime. Meyer lemon and lavender scented. No harmful chemicals.and no animal testing, bottle made from 100% post consumer materials.

ology kitchen cleaner
Hello, I have a NEW Cleaner! We have a porcelain stove and keeping it clean over the holiday baking and cooking season is pretty much a nightmare! But I figured it was the ultimate cleaning test, so I put the cleaner to the test. I sprayed it on, waited 2 minutes and wiped. Literally everything but the hard dried stuff came up immediately with one swipe. Not even the cleaner we've been using could do that! So I resprayed and let it soak for 5 minutes, bamm one clean stove top. No hard scrubbing, no chemical smell to drive you out of the kitchen, and one clean stove. I love the lemon/vanilla smell- it is very nice! I also used the spray in the bathroom and the sink area gleamed! At under $4, this is beyond being a bargain! There is only this scent, and they also have a glass cleaner available.

We really wanted to try the shampoo and conditioner, but our store was totally out of the shampoo! And as with any other brand, you really need to try them together. Our store didn't have the copy paper or bath tissue either. I think they will probably carry more of the line, as more sells well.

I am totally sold on the line and highly recommend it, as an economical and healthy choice to the products you've been using around, and on, your kids and family!
