Giveaway: Winn Dixie Saves You Gas and Gives You MORE Box Tops!

Winn Dixie is our local store, well at least until the Super Walmart opens, but I got a feeling that it will stay in business, as they have different products than Walmart. One of their key programs over the past 2 years has been their Winn Dixie Fuelperksprogram. Have you enrolled in it? We have saved a HUGE amount of money on gas by using it this past 2 years!

With gas at over $3 for the past year, it is great to be able to shop for the everyday items you need and get cents back, and off of the cost of a gallon of gas. Our highest amount so far since we've been using it is 90 cents! Yup- that brings that $3 a gallon down to $2.10. If you are getting over 15 gallons of gas, that is almost $14 in savings. It's like getting some of that gas for FREE! 

And it is super easy to get to that 90 cents off when they have their special bonus points, like this month: when you buy 5 participating Box Tops items at Winn Dixie, you earn 10 cents off per gallon on gas AND get 20 Bonus Box Tops! How cool is that?

We were sent a gift card to see what we could find with Box Tops that would give us those extra fuel points!

The card came while Kiddo was off on Christmas vacation, so we went looking for items that she could help us cook (and to keep her occupied!) So what did we find?

So we had breakfast covered, lunch and dinner and dessert! Woo Hoo!

We cut up the sausage and added pepperoni and made a meat lovers pizza, with the help of a kid's pizza cooking kit (included cutting board, knife, pizza cut and apron) that Kiddo won. Here's what it looked like:

You would really be surprised at HOW many items have box tops on them! Kiddo is balistic about checking the boxes and containers, as her class won the school class party for bringing in the most box tops last year, and her class this year want to win this year!
