Last month we shared some Easter books with you, and we've got another for you, as part of our Easter Basket Delights series!.

My First Easter Sticker Book cover

Synopsis:
Here is a story and activity book containing a complete retelling of the Easter story presented in a simple manner for young children to grasp. The stickers are used first to complete the illustrations in the main story. Then there are extra activities on each page alongside the story--counting, naming, identifying--with stickers for each. All of the stickers are found in the center of the book where they are grouped and numbered according to activity to make it easy for young children to find the right sticker. A fun and interactive way for children to learn the Easter story.

Review: This is a lovely book that is appropriate for kids through 2nd grade, not just preschoolers! For those that can't read, parents can read it and ask the questions that are included at the bottom of each page (see below picture) and hand over the stickers to put in place. For those that can read, it is an easy reader that would be great to share with their classmates and family.

The stickers are coordinated by colored outlines, to help kids know where to place them. If you look at the picture above, you can see the purple areas where the 2 stickers would go.The Easter story is on pages 1-6, then there are 2 pages with 8 panels, that illustrate The Story of Jesus, and the last page includes a lovely Easter prayer.

Miss Grace thought this was a great Easter book and the questions spurred discussions that were interesting and allowed me to see how her train of thought works! We highly recommend it as a great Easter basket present!
