Ah, Easter break....
aka, the kids are driving you NUTS!
How about a fun 'recipe' that will keep them occupied for a little while (sorry, probably not LONG enough...)?
Peep Skewers
Ingredients:
Assorted Peeps® Colors
Large Marshmallows
Decorative Sprinkles
Sanding Sugar
Brownie Cake Mix
3 T Chocolate Pudding
1 c Milk Chocolate Chips (This is plenty for 6 or less skewers)
Wooden Skewers
Directions:
1. Bake brownies according to box directions, and adding 3 tablespoons of chocolate pudding mix/powder.
2. Let brownies cool completely.
3. Melt chocolate chips and dip whole marshmallow in melted chocolate, then roll them in sprinkles and
let dry on wax paper.
4. Three marshmallows are used per skewer, so make as many as you need.
5. Cut your brownies in small squares and dip the top lightly in the chocolate, and sprinkle with your favorite color of sanding sugar. One brownie is used per skewer, so make as many as needed.
6. Assemble skewers: alternate Peeps, marshmallows and brownies on skewer and decorate or plate to your creative desires.
Have fun eating the skewers!
