This DVD would be an excellent addition to a child's Easter basket,

Since 1983, My Gym has established local facilities where children, infant through 13 years old, learn and grow through unique and exciting activities. My Gym Kids worldwide develop healthy minds and strong bodies under the guidance of trained and loving instructors in a safe, clean and noncompetitive environment. I had never heard of them, as apparently there were no locations where we lived, but you can find a local center via their center locator! Be sure to check out their Facebook page for special events, like Spring and Summer camps, at their centers as well!
And because many kids don't have a local center, My Gym made a Mymo's Adventures DVD to bring all the fun from their classes home to kids, via their TV sets!
The DVD features at home play along activities, that are made up of music, fun and fitness! Action packed and imaginative, "Mymo's Adventures" combines animated fun, original music & live action workouts which educate,entertain and motivate children to be active, all while helping them develop their coordination, balance, strength, and fine/gross motor skills. And most important. It's FUN!
The DVD is narsrated by the gym’s cute mascot, Mymo, the Monkey, and he easily gets the kids' attention, and cooperation!,as he leads them on six interactive adventures, like Dance Party, down the Mississippi River, at the Big Top, and Mountain Hike. Miss Grace liked the Safari and Dance party the best! And she really liked the wisecracking puppet,Alphonzo Bartholomew III, who offered witty asides and kept her laughing! I liked that the DVD included a great little warm up and stressed how important it was to do so before ANY exercise, and how the DVD really gets kids moving! Miss Grace just loved the fun 'pretend' adventures she had. The DVD really gets kids to use their motor skills, both fine and gross motor, and stresses flexibility and balance- things that can be useful no matter what activity they are involved in!
I would say this video is perfect for ages 2-7, as that age level will love Mymo and pretending the most. Mymo’s Adventures DVD can be purchased at most My Gym locations or you can email info@mygym.com.
