I was recently introduced to a new print service that hasn't gotten all the write ups as the big online services, but offers quality prints and products at very good rates!
When you sign up for a MailPix account you get 100 FREE 4x6 prints! They even have special smart phone photo sizes- did you realize that those photos are sized different? Yup- most are 4x5!
I was recently given the chance to check out their custom coffee mugs, as part of their photo products line. I've bought different products from other companies over the years, so I was very interested to see what type of job they could do!
Uploading the pictures I wanted to include was very simple- I could do it right from the format screen for the coffee mug! I loved that they had different layouts you could choose- I went with a simple ones, as I had an idea of what I wanted to use it for (and it wasn't coffee drinking!). As I chose a bright green background, I knew it would be a tough one to make look really good, so I was eagerly anticipating the results.It was easy to change fonts, add text and edit the photos right from the format screen. VERY simple and quick!
I received my mug in less than 5 days from the day the order was submitted. HOW quick was that? Amazing! I was very impressed with how the mug arrived as well- check out the packing box:
See, well done Mailpix! That mug did not move at ALL during shipping! And how did it turn out?
Ms. Grace was overjoyed with HER cup, and I was thrilled with the results!
And what was the use?
As you can see why are a crafty bunch.
Having converted the upstairs living room into a crating space has really been
a stretch to the organizational genes, but we're getting there.
In an attempt to keep Ms Grace from using MY markers (ever seen a 6 year old press down on a marker while coloring? Yup, you know my point, pun intended!), I've put them in cups-that way she knows which ones she can't use (like the fabric and permanent ones).
But by placing HER markers in HER new cup, she can grab the cup and go to the crafting table and color her heart out.
And I know MY markers are safe. Whew!
So, what do you think? I think Mailpix is a serious contender with the other digital photo printing sites, especially with their instant printing from Facebook and Instagram! I will definitely be using them again.
