One With Nature Dead Sea Mineral Soap Lavender Soap

This Dead Sea Mineral Soap is triple milled for smoothness, is mildly exfoliating from the Dead Sea salts and lavender, and soothing with added Shea Butter.Starting with a pure vegetable base and moisturizing Shea butter, the sea salts and lavender are added to perfection in this large bar of soap. I have always loved French milled soap, not only does it seem to clean better, the bars last a LOT longer than commercial soap, and are better for your skin, with less chemicals, so you feel safe letting your kids use them!

Miss Grace and I adore this soap- in fact, she took this bar from me as soon as it came in- she has always loved lavender in her bath! We've also found an additional use for it- washing her hair! There are days when she gets SO sweaty, that her fine hair just seems to exude oil. For those days, shampoo always seems to leave her hair dry. So we've found that is we use this bar directly on her hair, the oil is gone, and when her hair dries it has a renewed shine and an unbelievable softness! AHA- a 2 for 1 cleaning bar!

Acure Organics Moroccan Argan Oil and Argan Stem Cell Shampoo and Conditioner

For Normal to Dry/Damaged/Curly Hair 

This salon tested duo provides lasting moisture to even the most dry and damaged hair leaving it soft, manageable and ready to rock! I had tried their Acure Organics Moisturizing Root Repair Argan Stem Cell + Mint hair mask before, with great results, and wanted to try the shampoo and conditioner next. I chose this formula as it as organic Argan Oil + Argan Stem Cells, CoQ10, and Sea Buckthorn Oil  (which is high in Omega 7) that all make up the Acure Organics patent-pending Triple Moisture System. Organic pumpkin seed oil, which is high in Omega 3 and fatty acids, is also added to create the high shine. 

I could tell the difference as soon as I used this duo one time! My hair was stronger, softer, shinier, and required less time to dry and flat iron. With additional use, it seems to be staying that way, and I am noticing less breakage in my hair! Always a plus! I am SOLD on the hair care line! There are multiple formulas available in the line, based on your hair needs, and at Viatcost, if you purchase both shampoo and conditioner, you get additional savings! You gotta love that!

Desert Essence Hair Defrizzer and Heat Protector Coconut

This spray is made with Jojoba and Coconut Extracts, to  help nourish brittle hair and condition dry scalp, to help restore moisture lost when applying heat to your hair, either via blow dryer or flat iron. It also has Cactus and Agave to also drench dry hair in moisture and restore a healthy luster to your hair. AND it has 

Panthenol Provitamin B5 to penetrate and seal hair surface to protect it from styling damage.

If you're like me, there is a certain hair care serum that you use for flat ironing your hair, that is amazing, but it comes at a HIGH cost for one small bottle. So when I found something that was getting RAVE reviews and was literally one third the cost,and contained natural ingredients (did you know some products have formaldehyde in them? I didn't until I went looking for an alternative to the one I was using!), I had to give it a try. I was sold from the start! It's Summer practically, so the light coconut oil was pleasant.

 I found that you spray your hair then give it a chance to soak in BEFORE you apply heat, that it works much better.I literally cut 10 minutes off the time it took me to flatten my hair by using this product. I know it seems odd, but the hair just responded better and I didn't have to go over the whole head 2-3 times, like I do with the other serum. I have also found that there is no 'oily' feel to my hair the next day or even 3 days later, like with the other serum! This is a HUGE plus! It does let you know where your dry ends are though- it was easy to feel the split ends and see what needed a trim!

 Miss Grace also sprayed me with the hose lightly and I didn't need to re-iron that section, like I would have with the other serum- I just sprayer some of the Dessert Essence on my hand and smoothed it over the hair. I have actually gone almost a week this last time, and my hair is still flat and NOT 'oily' at all- it still feels like the day I flattened it. I am SOLD! This spray will definitely replace the expensive serum! Vitacost has a whole line of Dessert Essence products and I will have to try them when I'm done with the Acure Organics!

Honeybee Gardens JobaColors Eye Liner 

in Envy (green)

This smooth jojoba-based, paraben free, formula won't drag or pull delicate skin. Easy to apply for a perfect, long-wearing look. As you can see from the color chart above, the line has 7 colors to choose from. The green is perfect for me, as it really accents my hazel eyes, as it is a deep rich emerald. It goes on VERY smooth, an I am quite impressed with how well it wears! I will probably pick up 2 or 3 more colors in this line, as my eyes can be sensitive, and they didn't itch at all while wearing this liner.I am finding the older I get, my skin does better with more natural based makeup products!

All Terrain Herbal Armor Natural Insect Repellent 

One of the most important beauty products for the Summer- insect repellent! You and I both know if you are itching like crazy, you'll be blotchy and miserable, so it needs to be an important part of your Summer routine, especially if you live in the South, or Minnesota, or Alaska, where the mosquitoes are blood sucking FIENDS.I know people who swear by a certain bath oil, but it has NEVER worked for me more than about 20 minutes, so I needed something better! 

This  repellent is all natural, DEET-Free, made of six natural-repelling oils and clinically proven 100% effective for two hours and 95.8% effective for three hours. It is proven non-irritating, for sensitive skin and is also sweat and water resistant; and won't damage clothing or equipment. Yeah! But the biggest thing is HOW it works INSTANTLY! The first day we got it I was helping Dad in the yard and apparently had the 'best blood in town' sign on my neck, as I got practically swarmed. I ran back inside, but this on all exposed parts and went back out. BAMM- no more swarm! It was like I had a small force field- they didn't even come close! 

I love that it is all natural, as I had putting chemicals all over Miss Grace, who has the 'second best blood in town', according to the mosquitoes. Even with all her running around, the lotion kept her 100% covered too! YEAH! The only thing that is odd, it that it is in a spray bottle, but it is really more of a lotion. So you spray, but then have to rub it in. Additionally the citronella smell IS strong at first, but then you get used to it, and it isn't so bad. I can put up with that to save being attacked! We have tried it in the pool yet (not set up yet), but I'm pretty sure it will hold up based on other reviews! Definitely check this out and get the family size, you won't be disappointed!
