aka, speaking of bread.................
We go to the new Panera Bread on the Northshore for lunch this week.
I pick Miss Grace up so she can see the pastries and cookies, right?
"Oh no, Mama, I want a baguette!"
Seriously- she wanted a loaf of bread.....
Which she pretty much got, as we all ordered the Summer special
(which by the way is excellent, I just wish they chopped the shrimp up for you,
as it is hard to eat politely, as it is):
which comes with a chunk of baguette, which none of us could eat (as the rolls were so big),
so she took them home in a 'kiddie bag', along with the leftovers from HER sandwich
(which of course she asked to be on a baguette).
And yes, she munched on them all afternoon as we ran errands, and on the way home...
I officially have the weird kid.....
But I am REALLY OK with that!
Course that means when I take her to Paris, we won't be able to walk past ANY Boulangerie....
oh well, c'est la vie, right? LOL
LOL, I don't think it's weird at all, it's adorable. She knows her mind and she has great taste! She's a little gourmet, there's nothing like a fresh Baguette!!
