The perfect fairy tale deserves the perfect picture book. The world has royal fever--we just can’t get enough of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Millions of people around the globe tuned in to watch their wedding in spring 2011 (Miss Grace and I included!), and the recent announcement of a baby on the way sent the media into a frenzy of speculation. Now, readers can go back in time to see their story from the beginning – a story about a little boy named William who would grow up to be king, and a little girl named Catherine who dreamed of meeting a prince one day…

Review: What can I say, I'm a sucker for a royal kids book, so I HAD to say yes to reviewing this one, especially since it arrived 3 days after Prince George did! And I am so glad I did- this is an adorable book- the illustrations are downright charming, and the prose is simple and kid friendly, and like Miss Grace I thought it was funny how the sheep followed Kate, and the corgi ,William, thru their life events!

I laughed myself silly over the phrase 'William's grandmother threw them a party after the wedding'- picturing the Queen as simply grandmama? Right!  Miss Grace laughed over the sheep and corgi following along and watching over the baby, who has it's own songbird to sing a lullaby to it (her definition of the picture below!)

This is a wonderful book (and app) to share with your kids and to discuss what it means with Prince George Alexander Louis' arrival this past week, and to smile at and know that Princess Diana would have loved it just as much, and share memories of her wedding with your kids too!
We greatly recommend it!
