Odwalla Bars for Kids come in three kid-friendly flavors. Each flavor contains 11 to 12 grams of organic whole-grains. That’s equal to about 25 percent of the whole grains needed, as recommended by the Whole Grains Council. Each bar contains 130 – 140 calories, and is a good source of fiber and an excellent source of calcium to help support healthy bones. And with under 10g of sugar, they are a very healthy alternative to other 'kids' bars out there!

Chocolate Chip Kick: A blend of whole grains with a chocolaty taste – perfect for a nourishing flavorful snack. Chocolate Chip Kick contains 4 grams of total fat per bar. My personal favorite- it is chewy and moist and has a great chocolate flavor!

Strawberry Score Hearty organic whole grain oats and pieces of strawberry make this bar’s flavor a home run. Miss Grace's favorite- she loved the pieces of strawberry and the light glaza on top!

Banana Dunk It’s a slam-dunk! A great morning snack option, this bar combines organic whole grain oats with pieces of banana. We're not banana fans, so we didn't review this one, but based on the other 2, it should be equally yummy!

Doesn't that just look great? And those whole grains really do the job of giving you energy with no sugar let down! On my first sampling, I only had half a bar for breakfast on the go, and was amazed at how long it kept hunger at bay, and provided me energy for the morning! Miss Grace may like these for her school lunches and snacks, but I'll be buying these for me too!

All three bars are available in 1.28 oz. single units and in multi-packs. Odwalla Bars for Kids can be found in colorful wrappers at natural-food stores, select supermarkets and specialty outlets nationwide. You can check your their store locator for a stool near you!

Check them out today and I think you'll agree that Odwalla has made a great tasting kid's snack bar!

About Odwalla
In 1980, musicians Greg Steltenpohl, Gerry Percy, and Bonnie Bassett, had a juicy realization as they squeezed a glass of California OJ: a state with so much fresh fruit should have a lot more fresh juice! Working from a backyard shed and squeezing juice by hand, they planted the seeds for a company that would bring the best of nature to the world. The trio found the company's name inspiration in one of their favorite songs. It told of a hero who led the "people of the sun" out of the "grey haze" (kind of like using natural produce to put people on the path to goodness). That hero's name? Odwalla!

Odwalla, Inc. delivers nourishment coast to coast with the Odwalla family of juices, juice drinks, smoothies, protein drinks, and nourishing food bars. Odwalla has been making juices and innovating in the natural health beverage category for 30 years. Its nourishing beverages and food bars are available in natural food stores, select supermarkets and specialty outlets throughout the country.

The company is committed to keeping things as simple and natural as possible today, as it did 30 years ago, in making their products:

  • 143 million pounds of citrus enter their Dinuba, CA headquarters every year. 0% goes into a landfill. In fact, more than 98% of all their trash is recycled.
  • After they make their juice, they carefully separate and re-use some of the leftover water. They also treat all the water that leaves their plant, creating less waste that can harm the environment and less work for city sanitation systems.
  • Odwalla has stringent standards for using chemicals and other cleaners safely, as well as reducing chemical consumption whenever possible in their production process.
  • In 2011, they ditched petroleum-based plastic by introducing the 12 oz. PlantBottle package, which they craft from HDPE plastic made from 100% plant material. It’s completely recyclable and derived from sugarcane, an easy to renew and fast-growing crop.Who knew?
  • They are also exploring technology that can use their expired juice that doesn't get sold, to fuel ethanol production.

They are a company you can be proud of and support when you buy their products! So check them out today!
