Review: This book is an excellent guide for parents wit known disorders and those that aren't diagnosed, but for whom a parent may feel can be rigid, anxious or distracted at times. The author gives great ideas for both home and at school, like how to set up a clothes and toys) organizing system, that allows your child to have independence, yet keep you from loosing your mind! There are plenty of pictures to illustrate the ideas as well. She explains very well how schedules and routines are very important to sensory and rigid kids, and how you can work them into your child's life. She also gives you some great ideas to speak with your child's teachers and how these can be worked into the school day. She also gives you tips for other social situations and traveling.

While Miss Grace doesn't fall into the disorders- she can be a tad OCD when it comes to routines, so I did get some great tips, like letting her see and meet her teacher before school started and working through her daily routine before school started,  that we implemented for the beginning of the school year, that seem to be really helping.  This is a great book, and I highly recommend you check it out if your gets have a diagnosed disorder, or just have tendencies that fall under the title of the book!
