I admit it took me a few minutes to figure out how to slide the right side, with the brushes, out. It was just because the Pact is new, and after about 6 times of pulling it out, it comes out much easier now! I LOVE that the foundation side has a hinged plastic cover over it, to keep the powder, and sponge, in place! The left side pulls over far enough that you can get to the eye shadow and lip gloss on the left side, with no problem (sometimes on these type of combos, that is a MAJOR issue!).
I was pretty impressed with the colors- they really do look great on anyone! The brushes are superb ! I want the eyeliner brush in full size for my regular makeup bag)! The foundation is pretty decent, but with my rosacea, it wasn't full coverage for me, so I would probably still need to put a light BB creme on first, for better coverage of the red (as you can see above- sorry for the look- but Dad was having issues taking pix and we were distracted from smiling at the moment he clicked!). While grey and white are not my normal eye shadow colors, they do work well no matter what you are wearing. I used the black as a eyeliner, for daytime look, but at night I might use the two together (like this). The blush is very complimentary to the lip gloss as well. And the plumper- YES it works!
The second thing I know you want to know about it, how well does it last/stay on?
The above pix was taken 9 hours after I applied the makeup, and after walking around in 80 degree weather at the car show for over an hour (with no sunglasses, as it was supposed to raining, so I did a lot of squinting). And oops, I realized I had rubbed my eye apparently and pulled a little of the black down under one eye....But as you can see, the 'eyeliner' held very well! I did use a little bit of water when applying, and that really seemed to help it hold all day!
Check out an easy to use cat-eye liner look, made with the shadows here!
Having the lights is really great when you're using the kit in your office, or in the car. Plus it can easily recharge while you're at work, and be ready for after hours! Personally I love that there are NO batteries! Plus, if you have a usb charger in your car, you can charge it on the go!
My GlamPact is my new 'to-go' makeup bag! It is perfect for carrying every where I could possibly need to take it! AND the fact that it is refillable (the colors pods pop out from the back), and that I can change the colors out, makes it even greater!
GlamPact retails for $100 (which is pretty good when you consider how many make up pieces it is replacing!, including brushes) and is available in Light Pink or Black. You can pre-order it today, and if you sign up for their newsletter you'll get special discounts, access to VIP events and easy reordering! Follow GlamIt on facebook also for more specials and deals!
So if you're tired of wasting time rummaging through your overfilled tote bag, that you're using a purse, to find your large cosmetic bag, and needing a make up touch up, but there’s no light in sight?
Give the GlamPact a try and you'll be hooked on it like I was!
