Ahh Back to School...
If your school is like ours, they are ENCOURAGING kids to use the computer for after school lessons, homework and 'educational fun'.
So when I was offered this chance to review a new kid's game app (for Android and iOS) from ELF Games, I was happy to try it out to see if it would be great for Miss Grace!
Word Search For Kids 2 is a word search puzzle game for kids age 4-8. With bright graphics and easy controls, everyone will fall in love with WSFK2.
Kids love it because it’s just fun to play, and parents love it because their kids are learning at the same time.
This sequel to Word Search for Kids, has over 200 words to find, improved graphics and touch controls. If you and your kids loved Word Search For Kids, they will do back flips when they see Word Search For Kids 2.
You start off by opening the app and selecting a level. As you can see there are 20 levels,that have a star on them when you complete a level (I went for the hardest level to try it out before I let Miss Grace play it).
Then your game comes up, with the word list on the right.
As you find a word, the letters are highlighted in the square, and then the word is crossed off automatically on the list. The letters that you used fade and you get a 'Great job!", "Way to Go!" or other encouragement on the screen.
This is the 20th level screen- as you can see the words are not beyond the range of 8 yr olds, and there is just the right amount for a short game, to keep your kid occupied, fight boredom, and feel like they finished a big puzzle!
We have tried other word search apps, but Miss Grace declared this one her favorite!
The company also has Let's Spell and Memory Match educational apps for kids 4-8 too!
