99 Stories from the Bible cover

Synopsis:

Following the narrative of the Bible, this collection of 99 stories starts with At the Beginning, and covers a wide variety of key events, including Samuel Listens, Esther, A Blind Man Sees, and Jesus Walks on the Lake, through to One Day Jesus Will Return. Each story is told over a double page spread with vibrant illustrations and some full page art.

Review:

This book is aimed at kids ages 2-7 primarily, or as an easy readers for kids 4-8.  The tales are condensed into 2 pages for every story, and accompanied by bright and cheerful illustrations, that will keep your kids attention. Last week, Miss Grace had a question about why John had baptized Jesus. I pulled out this book and read her the story, and suddenly it made more sense to her. Sometimes with younger kids, the kernel is what they need, not the whole tale, and this is what this book gives them., as you can see below:

I highly recommend this book as a great way to share the bible with your younger child, in a way they can grasp better. And with 99 stories, it would be great to start the new year off with this book, as a daily reading source!

About the Illustrator:
" I started drawing as soon as I learned how to hold a pencil, or probably even earlier. It helped me a lot in life. The kids at school used to like me, because I drew funny caricatures of teachers and the teachers liked me because I drew all the school posters. After school and university I used to draw for newspapers and magazines and now I enjoy illustrating children’s books and creating greeting cards.
