Trailing a racist murderer with a prediliction for removing victims' teeth, Geraldine has little time to investigate her birth mother and with the death toll mounting and no sign of an arrest of the killer the papers are calling 'The Dentist', Geraldine must act fast to ensure she doesn't become the killer's next victim. From the author of the Detective Inspector Geraldine Steel thrillers comes another enthralling read

Review:

Geraldine makes a big step in her career by going to the Met, and like any other human, wants to fit in, succeed, and show she can do the job, that she has been highly recommended for. In fact, I would say that this book, more than any of the others, makes Geraldine more likable, and reachable to the reader. You feel like you know her, and understand how she does things in the stories. The mystery is full of false leads and the typical urging of the police leaders to solve the crime asap, but with no clues, the detectives are lost. How Geraldine solves the story and settles in, offers and enjoyable afternoon read! If you've read any of the other books in this series, be sure to read this one!
