As you know, Miss Grace is in Irish Dance.

Which means in a weird way, that traditional dance costumes, like a balerina, are just no longer her 'thing'.

You really can't blame her- I mean check out a typical Irish Feis competition dress:

Yup- bling-a-licious time.

So when she says she wants a dance type costume for Halloween, what's a mom to do?

Check out Wholesale Halloween Costumes, that's what!

They have everything you could possibly think of to not be a 'traditional looking dancer' at Halloween!
From multi-colored tutus, to Flamenco dancer outfits, to dance dresses with wings, to even light up tutus!
And their prices?

Shockingly LOW!!!!! Yup- you get a much better costume that those from the box stores,
and the sets are really well put together!

So what look did Miss Grace decide on?

batarina costume 1

That would be the Batarina Ballerina Costume!

The set includes a purple and black tutu dress with matching bat wings, glovelets and bat ear headband.
(The matching purple and black tights are not included, but at less than $2, it's no biggie!)

As you can see, Miss Grace was very enthusiastic about the outfit- she LOVES it!

batarina costume 2

The outfit is on the SHORT side, so tights will be a requirement!
But look how fluffy the skirt is!

I got her the size 8-10, due to her length, and I'm glad I did, as I can pinch in the shoulder a bit, but otherwise, it is loose enough to allow for a lot of movement (as you can see). We did need to cut the thumb hole out a tad more as well, as it was sewn more for the 4-6 range, but once we clipped a few threads, it was fine. She loves the glovelets- claims they are 'cool'.

And yes, the Batarina can Irish dance all over the house in her dance costume.

Yup, she's not an ordinary ballerina is she? LOL
Mom scores for Halloween (if the outfit makes it that long- Miss Grace mentioned it was PURPLE and
perfect for Mardi Gras parades....LOL!)

So if you're looking for an unique costume for your Halloween, or Mardi Gras, needs,
check out Wholesale Halloween Costumes!

They have you covered head to toe!
