Continuing our perfect books for the Easter basket meme, I have one that is perfect
for Louisiana kids, and those that love a certain 'Duck' show!

Synopsis:

Say your ABCs Duck Commander style with this picture book perfect for the youngest Duck Dynasty® fans.

The Duck Commander family has a unique approach to the alphabet. The world of A&E®’s Duck Dynasty® comes to life in this illustrated book featuring everyone’s favorite characters, sayings, and more

Review:

This 48 page book is aimed at kids ages 4-8, but younger kids will love having ti read to them as well! It is great as an early reader too! Kids like Miss Grace, who LOVE the show will LOVE this book for THEM from Miss Kay, and more than likely it will be a slow read, as they reminisce about favorite episodes that dealt with the subject matter at hand for each letter! As a parent, I love that "A is for America" and talks about saying the pledge, and "X is for XOXO hugs and kisses from God above"!

There are plenty of Louisiana references among the letters as well. All grandparents will smile about their house also being a 'zoo'! Miss Grace thought the book was a hoot, and as you can see, the illustrations by Sydney are very cute and perfect for the book!

About the Author:
Kay Robertson is the revered matriarch of the Robertson family and star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty. Kay believes her cooking talents are a gift she must share, so she often ends up feeding all of the family and most of the neighborhood. Her most famous dishes are banana pudding, fried deer steak, crawfish pie, and sticky frog legs.

About the Illustrator:
Sydney was raised in Minnesota alongside numerous pets and brothers. When she wasn't tunneling through snowdrifts or rescuing frogs from rain gutters, she was drawing. Her illustrations and paintings still reflect these early adventures and are marked by a love for animals and the natural world. In addition to her traditional illustrations Sydney is an experienced 2D and 3D production artist. In 2011 she moved to Los Angeles where she's worked for several animation shops including Nickelodeon and Disney Interactive. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time outside with her adopted brother, a Labrador retriever named Cash. Check out her gallery for more.
