Review:
This is a lovely little book and a truly perfect way to teach your young children about the many different ways that God blesses them, each and every day! Kids are attracted to the lovely illustrations (see below) and the lyrical, rhyming text! Plus as you child and you count down from twelve blessings to one, you have the added resource of learning numbers and number sequences- ta-da a multi-tasking book!
Each of the 12 blessings is paired with a scripture and a prayer, as you can see above. They are all one page blessings, so they are great for early readers as well (the book is aimed at ages 3-7, but easily read to younger children, who can grasp the ideas as well).
I love how it helps kids add to- very important for kids doing pre-reading!
And most importantly- it teaches kids to think outside of themselves for blessings that God gives us each and every day! The book makes a prefect gift and we highly recommend it!
