Review:
Miss Grace loves movies with music (why we have watched a certain 'chilly' movie 10 times in 6 days!), that she can sing (very loudly) along with! So she was thrilled with this DVD and all the great songs, like WILD. I love that you don't have to watch the movie again to hear the song again, but can go to the bonus features and click on the videos. This is something new to recent Disney DVDs and one parents like me, wholeheartedly are fans of! I also love the digital movie option, which allows us to pull the video up whenever we're out and about, and need to keep the kids occupied (like on vacation! No dragging half your library with you!).

The movie is a great follow up- sometimes you worry about how the original characters will adapt to a part two. No worries, the characters remain true to themselves, as we loved them in The Jungle Book. I had fun trying to figure out who all the voices were (as most of the original star who had voiced the characters are deceased, new actors had to be picked).. Some were easy like John Goodman, others like Haley Joel Osment and Tony Jay were not! They all got into their characters, and I would guess that they all lvoed the original movie, as the voice inflections are very close!

This was a wonderful family movie, and we highly recommend it !

Now check out what the new high definition looks like:

  1. We have to get this one. My grandson watched it almost daily with me for the longest time (the original). We would always sing The Bare Necessities song since we heard it so many times.
