Review:

Miss Grace loves the Transformers, since she started watching them on the Hub (yes, Mom is still trying to get used to her aging out of Sprout!), so she was anxious to check out this latest video installment! She likes the action and I like that each story includes lessons about team work (important now that she is part of a dance team, where team is stressed over individual!). Even their 'oath' stresses this: "We pledge to heed the Prime Alert, and help the people of planet earth. We’ll work together and act as one". You have to appreciate that being taught!

The episodes are geared to the younger generation, so parents can breathe a sigh of relief that while there is action, the violence of the original Transformers is not here. Miss Grace also is into all things related to science, so the Shake Up episode about earthquakes resulted in some serious discussion and reference book look up! I think if you take these episodes and have subsequent discussions over them, your kids will get a lot more from them, and I am happy to be able to recommend this video (and series) for younger kids!
