Walt Disney Animation Studios presents an epic tale of adventure and comedy with Frozen.

If you have a child under the age of 12, you probably know the entire movie by heart, songs includes by now, since the video has been out for 2 weeks, and you probably can agree with literally EVERYTHING in this hysterical post about frequent viewing of it!

But if you haven't seen it, the story line is this:

When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna, a young dreamer, must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, and his reindeer on the grandest of journeys to find Anna's sister, the Snow Queen Elsa, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

Frozen: A Tale of Two Sisters: This EZ Reader retells the story of sisters Anna and Elsa in 32 pages. The Step Into Reading Level Two reader which brings the adventurous tale of Frozen to early readers ages 4-6.
As you can see, it has really simplified the story, yet keeps the heart if the tale.

Miss Grace grabbed it eagerly when it arrived and loved that she was able to read pretty much by herself!

It's always great to have books based on kids' favorite movies- it makes them WANT to read the books! Especially with this new tech generation, getting them to want to open a book can be a real battle, so I'm very happy Miss Grace adores having a book in her hand, versus reading one on the computer!

I was also thrilled to get the Junior edition, which will be perfect for Miss Grace to be reading over the Summer!

Frozen: The Junior NovelizationRecommended for 8-12 years, this is a chapter book, perfect for young readers! It tells the story in more detail in its 128 pages, and even includes eight pages of full-color scenes from the movie, in the middle of the book!

Miss Grace was thrilled to have a 'big girl' book for her Summer reading program!

And for those kids wanting a technical version versus the book version, they can check out:

Frozen: Storybook Deluxe: Now available in Apple’s App Store, this digital storybook introduces early readers to Disney’s Frozen through all-new interactive features.  Children and families can relive the epic adventure by flipping the device upside-down to hear the story from sisters Anna and Elsa's points of view, using "ice craft" tools that let kids create and build their own frozen scenes and crystal palaces, and watching video clips from the film itself.

So there you have it!

Some great choices to add to your child's Easter basket this month,
or to get for continued Summer reading!
