I know you're thinking, but Summer is almost here, why should I worry about lunch / bentos boxes now?

Simple! Fresh fruit!

It's Spring, and there is so much fresh fruit and veggies in the market, that now is the time to be sending them off to school with your child, and that's where these Buddy Boxes really shine!

You get not 1, but FOUR boxes in this STACKING set of bento boxes!

The boxes and lids are all made of quality BPA/phthalate free plastic, so you know they will last awhile and be sturdy! s - You can microwave, freezer & put them in the dishwasher are with confidence that they will keep their shape and not melt, and keep your food as fresh as when you put it in there! The side walls are very sturdy and go almost all the way tot he top, so your food is kept separated easily. However, because of that flexibility at the top, they are NOT leakproof! 

I REALLY love how well they stack together, the bottoms together, and the tops on top. This takes up a whole lot less space on your shelf/in your drawer, and you always know where the lids are- perfect for busy parents! 

The sections are perfectly sized for main entree, and 2 sides. As you can see below, a small bag of cookies (equivalent to the width of a sandwich, fits perfectly in the entree section! You can even fit a small apple in that compartment, or the second one!

I love using the boxes for leftovers for me for lunch/dinner at work! It is so nice to have a home cooked meal, that I can microwave whenever I have to change to take a meal break! In the picture below,It was easy to fit 2 homemade enchiladas and a scoop of rice in the box! The entree holder holds 3 1/2 cups, the 2nd one 1 1/3 cups. Before taking to work, I pop the lid and add fresh fruit, like grapes, to the 3rd container (holds 1 cup), so that way it is super fresh!

We've also used these for picnics! You can make up a lunch for everyone, with what they want to eat, and then when it's time for lunch, the meal has it's own container- no need for extra plates! Plus you can put a good amount of food in them, so it reduces the 'I'm still hungries'! They also fit very nicely into the travel cooler!  And the kids can open them quite easily themselves, with the pull tab on the edge of the lid!

The containers are not small by any means- they are 9.5" (length) x 6.2" (width) x  2.2"(height), so you need to make sure they you have a large lunch box for them to fit in, if you are sending them off to school with your child! They are also reasonably priced ($12.99 with available free shipping!).
