Ah, can you hear it?

Summer is here and what is the one thing we all get attracted to during Summer?

Yup, bright, HAPPY colors!

On a recent visit to Kohl's I found one very happy green, in the most surprising place:

See ALL those bright green labels?

They ALL belong to Food Network kitchen, baking and dining products!
Pretty much anywhere you looked in the kitchen area, there was that wonderful bright green calling to you!

And look at all those happy, bright spatulas beckoning you closer!
And the matching bright bowls?
It's like a garden of delight awaiting you in the kitchen area at Kohl's!

Did you catch the American flag one, perfect for your Fourth of July BBQ?
But there's MORE!

OOOO- Did you look at the glass canister and say "I could use that in the _____ room too"? I know I did! I instantly thought bathroom and craft room!

No Southerner would be caught dead without a classic deviled egg tray! This beauty from Food Network can carry 2 DOZEN eggs- more than enough for the 4th, right? (Yes, I know, that's just round one- Miss Grace can put a dent in half a dozen my herself, but you get my point!)

I knew the Food Network had pots and pans, and bakeware, but I was AMAZED at the quality and quantity of varied products they have available at Kohl's!

When I visited, most of the items were on sale as well by as much as 25%, making them an even better deal!

Sometimes it's just too hard to pick items when you're given the chance! Especially when there are so many COOL items like those above!

The sink strainer fits across your sink and folds FLAT for easier storage! Did I just hear a hallelujah from you? Yup, I did a happy dance in the store too! Even their round strainers fold flat! You could put them all in a drawer! Woo hoo!

I'm a sucker for metal canisters, especially when we're taking our kitchen back to a retro look! But they're also great for other rooms in your house too!

I decided to get items that we could use for our Memorial Day BBQ and 4th of July!

Sometimes you just need REAL eating utensils, even for BBQ! With this new Food Network Flatware set, I have a 5 piece service for 4, that stays on it's own hanging container. When it's just us at home, and we're eating dinner on the porch, it is super to leave this set out and not have to cart silverware back and forth! With a 5 piece set, you have a spoon or fork for dessert too!

Miss Grace picked out the American flag spatula for Papa- she said he needed a 'happy' flipper for the burgers on July 4th! I sorta have to agree- it does make you smile! We also found some matching Food Network Herringbone Strip towels to go with it, as he is always in need of them while BBQing! Did you know the Food Network brand also covers linens, placemats, napkins, potholders, and bar cloths too? I didn't! But they are all very well made, and wash up really well, with no shrinking!

Summer is here, and the one item we will be using over and over is the solid ice cream scoop! It has a super comfortable soft grip handle, and is heavy enough NOT to bend, and a professional style scoop, for easy removal off the scoop into your bowl! Plus it is dishwasher safe for quick and easy cleaning too!

But the one item we have gotten the most use out of, and that we are all totally in LOVE with is the sturdy Food Network Tux Can Opener! Like the ice cream scoop, it has a soft-grip handle (made of cast zinc allow for extra strength) that is sturdy and very easy to hold! The easy turn handle is perfect for those who have wrist/hand issues too!

We love our Food Network products and since I want to encourage you to #CookWithKohls this Summer, I'm sharing a super Deviled Egg Recipe, like shown in the picture above!
