RIP 'Anthony Bouvier', Meshach Taylor

Meshach Taylor

It had to have been hard to keep a straight face, when the divas of Designing Women
held forth, but Meshach Taylor did and was nominated for an Emmy for his great acting on the show!
This clips shows how much his character changed from employee to friend
(Thrice-divorced Miss Georgia World 1974 Suzanne Sugarbaker was easily the most flamboyant of the Sugarbaker's crew, with her collection of tiaras, her pet pig Noel, and her outrageous outspokenness. But through it all, Suzanne and Anthony forged a strong friendship, surprising even themselves):
Taylor played the Sugarbaker's assistant, and friend, Anthony Bouvier on “Designing Women.” The comedy about an outspoken feminist who ran a design firm out of her Atlanta home, with her sister, a former beauty-queen, ran from 1986 to 1993. For those of you not in the know! You can catch reruns on the retro channels!

Although he had other shows and movies to his credit, he will always be remembered as dear Anthony!

RIP Meshach,
our thoughts, prayers and condolences to your family!
