And now for a kid's book that is perfect for early bible study!

God's Word for Me Bible Storybook cover

This book is unique in that the Bible stories are told with real Bible text from the International Children’s Bible. God’s Word for Me will captivate children and parents alike. Twenty-six Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments are included, and each story is accompanied by a prayer, a verse to memorize, and a spiritually enriching activity to help kids grow in their faith.
Useful resources are included  in the book to further help children learn about the Bible, such as a reading chart, a list of the books of the Bible, a memory verse checklist, and more. This beautifully illustrated Bible storybook will have a key place in families’ homes for years to come.

This is a really great book to start your kids on a bible study program, if you don't have one at your church for kids! It has the 26 stories, from both Old and New Testament, with short text, great for early readers (2-4th grade) and the review square offers ways to implement the moral of the story in their lives (do God's Work), and a line from the story to remember/memorize. The parents section includes items for memorization like the books of the bible, the names of the apostles, the ten commandments, the 23rd Psalm, the Lord's Prayer, and some simple songs. There is also a check off list for reading and memorization. Making the book a really great all-in-one for early bible study!

Miss Grace memorizes bible passages and story at school, so for her, this was more of a review book. Some things like all the books names, they haven't gotten to, but it's great to have them all in one place, where she can keep going back to help memorize them in order. I really liked the sections with putting the story into their lives- it helps to bring the word of God into a daily concept for kids! This would be an excellent book for churches looking for a bible study book for elementary ages, and one that easily allows for supplemental material, activities and projects! We highly recommend it!

  1. To memorize the books of the Bible, my kids actually used the books of the Bible songs. I would like to win this for my grandkids. I know they would enjoy it.
