I was invited to check out their new cultural gallery and found the PERFECT print to solve my large wall need!
Maria Mendez - Destinations II has all the great locations in Paris, and was perfect for the Paris decor in my upstairs sitting/craft/TV room! I have a VERY long wall and have it slightly broken up, but really needed a standout piece for the middle of the black and white French Quarter New Orleans prints I have. I really liked the look of the print as it was shown, so decided to stick with a very basic Stepped Front Black frame with the Standard Acrylic Plexiglass over it. This way it would not take away from the matting on the prints on either side of it.
What I love about the prints at Fulcrum is that they are gallery quality and you can design your frame how YOU want it! You can have it laminated, put onto canvas (not available for all prints) or framed. If you're getting ti frames, you choose your frame (they show you three views so you can see how it looks from front, side and top!), your mat and your type of glass! It really is like going to a local framing store. I loved how Fulcrum sent me an email letting me know the print was being frames, was completed, and then shipped, with the tracking code! AND even better it came in an over sized box, with plenty of protection, so it arrived perfectly as ordered! The only thing I had to install was wire hangers on the back, as due to the weight, I wanted a sturdy hanging.
As you can see, it fits PERFECTLY in between the prints (sorry for the glare), and the thicker black frame mimics the matting on the 4 pictures perfectly, making it look like the gallery was planned, for over the antique sideboard! And now the wall decor looks appropriate to the space and room, giving it a nicely finished look! We're thrilled!
