Are you looking at providing more natural or organic ingredients for your family?

Do you want to ratchet up the TASTE of your baked and snack goods?

Meet your solution:

100% Raw, Vegan, Non-GMO, Pure Organic Cacao Powder.

Cacao (also known as cocoa) Powder: Cacao has been consumed by the Mayan and Aztec cultures for centuries due to its invigorating health properties. Cacao contains one of the richest sources of antioxidants found in nature and is a great source of magnesium, dietary fiber, iron, zinc, and potassium. Studies have shown a little every day is GOOD for you, if it is of a high quality source.

Kiva cacao powder is made from only the finest hand-selected premium Criollo cacao beans from Ecuador. Their low-temperature, minimal processing protects the cacaos natural nutrients and flavor. The result is a delicious powder that is just as nature intended, with no sugars or fillers.

Suggested Uses: Add to bake mix or desserts, Mix with smoothies or beverages, Sprinkle over yogurt, fresh fruit or just about anything. Be creative!

This is a very high quality tasting cacao. It is rich and dense, and perfect for making anything better with the chocolate taste! You see the difference when you open the bag, and you can taste it! It has become my new favorite cacao powder!

I had come across a recipe for an organic chocolate bar the day my Kiva powder came in and I had a great idea, about using the Kiva powder, but adding ingredients to make it the

Ultimate Chocolate Snack Bar!

1/2 cp plus 1 tbsp Kiva Cacao Powder
1/4 cp sugar- or cane sugar or brown sugar or honey or agave nectar
(depends on how healthy you want to make it)
4 tbsp coconut oil, melted
optional:
2 tbsp PB2 powder
2 tbsp protein powder (I used one that has added minerals for those peri-menopausal moments)

Directions:

1. Mix together coconut oil with your sugar/honey/nectar.
2. Add cocoa powder, and optional items, and stir well to blend, about 4 minutes.
3. Make sure mixture is THICK. Pour mixture into a lined container- I used a 6 inch square.

4. Place container in the freezer for about 30 minutes, until it gets solid.
5. Remove from freezer, and use lining to remove square form pan.

6. Chop bar into pieces or small bars.
7. Store in refrigerator for when you need a momentary snack that truly satisfies, and is GOOD for you!

Next time I will make a double batch, as Miss Grace discovered this batch and declared them "best chocolate ever"! They have a definite coconut flavor, like a melted candy bar. Having the protein really helps you stick to ONLY one piece at a time!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
