Finished your back to school shopping yet?????

back to school button

If you're like us, you buy what's on the 'required list', but after school starts, you realize there are 'incidental' items that your child needs, that not only makes their studying easier, but can help you stay more organized (something we can all use during the busy, hectic school year!).

Post It ,a company you know and trust, has a number of NEW items this school year that can REALLY help with the organization of your schedule, and your child's:

post it home organization

I know, I know, my fridge only looked like that for the first day of school too! LOL

We were sent a sampling of the products shown to try out:

post it home organization products

Starting from the left (and going clockwise)-

1. Scotch Restockable Strip- available in blue wave design and clear square design, these strips have double sided adhesive to stick where you want them! You can use them to display notes, artwork, and photos with ease. Plus they can hang either direction, fitting to the area you want them! I actually decided to use this over my sewing station, as I can insert instructions, pictures, even patterns with ease, by placing it horizontally.

2. Post It Display Cards- Available in 3 colors and 2 sizes,  these have removable mounting squares and can be placed on different surfaces. They allow you to organize smaller pictures into a cleaner looking square, or to showcase extra special pictures! So much better than a clear frame with no style! I love the pop of color they give to your pictures!

3. Magnetic Grip Discs- these nifty paper holders come 2 per pack and allow you to insert paper or artwork one handed, and have it where you need it, with their backing magnet! Plus it is just as easy to change out or remove your papers! Miss Grace instantly claimed these for her
revolving' gallery on the side of the fridge!

4.  Post-it Reminder Tile with Aqua Wave Full Adhesive Notes is in the traditional 3 x 3 we all know size. It has the 'Command' style adhesive on the back, so it will stay put it! The pads also have FULL sticky on the back, so they will stick (and stay) where ever you put them! I love the idea of using different color pads (there are 4 different colors to choose from) for different kids, so you know at a quick glance if they have left you a note, or if you left them one!

If you want to take organization to a new scale, check out this idea from Post It:

Don't you love this station for the kids and the dog?
The bright colors are sure to make everyone stop and put their items away, and get important notes!

But Back to School is about the kids, so check out the great new study helpers this year:

(Clockwise from left above)
1. Page Markers- these bright 8 colors give you 50 markers each, for plenty of use with different subjects. VERY handy when writing a research paper or thesis. As you can mark different pages by topic, and then go back and organize them! They are 1/2 inch wide and allow for a quick reminder notation. I love the new colors, which really make them seem more modern and hip!

2. Study Writable Arrow Flags- this new 1 inch size is perfect for jotting notes when flagging pages. I never seem to have enough room to make a note when using flags, but these are PERFECT! Their clear background allows you to see behind them as well. Plus you get 60 per pack, so they will last a good while!

3. Notebook Kit- perhaps the coolest new item from Post It. This Kit is made to go into your 3 ring binder or notebook, and keeps your flags and note tabs handy!

It comes with 2 sets of regular size post its and one set of 5 multi-colored flags.
Best part? When you run out, you can easily replace them! And you can cut them apart (like on the right, and use only the ones you need, and use the others on a different notebook or binder!

4. Note Tabs- these new tabs are BIG- 3 3/8 by 2 3/4 inches and have LOTS of room to write notes on! I love the grid lines for neater writing and quick diagrams! You get 25 tabs per pad!

And Miss Grace's FAVORITE item from the box?

Pop Up Cat Dispenser

The dispenser hold the 3x3 traditional Post It notes, and it's easy one handed use makes it great for attaching notes on the run. I keep it near Miss Grace's backpack, for quick notes to her teacher (the bright green post it color easily catches your eye!) or for a list to grab things on the way home from dropping off/picking up the kid!

As you can see, Post It has come a LONG way from the old days of the the yellow 3x3 notes!

Check them out today and see how they can help your family get organized for the school year, and help with studying!
