Leveritt reminds us of the importance of daily sunscreen use, showing the actions, including sunscreen, we must take to keep from getting sun damage to our skin. But it doesn’t stop there. Many sunscreen brands are loaded with unnecessary chemicals that most people don’t even realize they’re applying. Luckily, the EWG’s 2014 Sunscreen Guide is out, helping to guide consumers in the right direction.
Sunology holds a level 1 ranking, and is committed to producing highly effective sun care products inspired by nature.Sunology offers broad-spectrum protection without the use of any man-made chemicals in their active ingredients, which are designed to physically screen UV radiation by reflecting harmful rays and protecting the skin. Sunology's inactive ingredients contain vitamins and antioxidants, that supplement the skin's natural oils, promoting healthy, youthful skin. Plus, their SPF 50 products are waterproof for 80 minutes- that is SO great when you have active kids-especially down here in the South, with Summer weather going into mid October!
I was able to check out their SPF 50 for Face and I was very impressed with not only how well it worked, but how it went on, and how well my make up worked with it. Sometimes sunscreens can make your makeup cakey, not so with Sunology! In fact, my makeup stayed put! And that is saying a lot with the high heat and humidity we've been having! I loved that it was odorless too, as I hate smelling sunscreen on my face. Don;t get me wrong, I love the smell of regular sunscreen, I just don't like smells on my face!
They also have SPF 50 for Body and a formula for Kids, which I have told all my friends about, who have kids that have allergies, as its' list of ingredients is safe for them! Yeah!
You can purchase Sunology through their website (is is not very much more than the non-healthy sunscreen you get at the drug store). Sign up for their newsletter and you can get notice of sales and special offers too!

Daily sunscreen is super important. I wish when I was younger I used more sunscreen. Sunology seems like a great brand to try. I like that it has vitamins in it.
