These sweet, slumber-inducing cushions come with a soft pillow and detachable blanket (both washable), that'll entice even the most anxious sleepers to lie down in bed and snuggle up with their plushy pals. As you can see, the pillow itself lights up in different areas, and the frog's arms hold the blanket, when it isn't being used. The pillows have 12 LED light bulbs placed on a satin sheet inside the cushion, to allow for maximum lighting. The LED light bulbs have 50,000 hour life span! That's a lot of night! LEDs were picked because they use less electricity than other types of bulbs, have extremely long lives, produce very little heat, do not emit UV or infrared, contain no mercury and are resistant to shock and vibration. That's something you can be very happy about!
The cover coves off via a flap on the back side as you can see above. The battery pack is also inside the internal pillow, and is accessed via the zippered cover, to keep little one's heads from hitting it. It is easy to open and insert the batteries (it does take 3 AA batteries). You turn on the pillow by pushing the on/off button, in the corner of the pillow. It is very easy for kids to turn on and off by themselves, plus.you can fast forward to the next song by pushing two clicks of the button. There is an auto shut off that lasts 16-17 minutes, so you don't have to worry about battery life draining away either! Pretty thoughtful, huh?
The company is very thoughtful indeed! They support several children's hospitals, by donating their pillows to kids!
