And now for a book that would make a lovely Valentine's Day gift,
with some accompanying chocolate, of course!

Synopsis:

Hayden Mundy Moore is an expert on everything chocolate, helping clients develop new products and revamp recipes until they’re irresistible. But sometimes, a dash of murder finds its way into the mix…

Hayden Mundy Moore has bushwhacked through African jungles and haggled in exotic markets to find the finest cacao beans and the most flavorful blends. It’s thrilling work but rarely dangerous—until a colleague turns up dead at the exclusive chocolate-themed LemaĆ®tre resort spa in San Francisco. Adrienne Dowling’s heart attack is blamed on an accidental overdose of the secret ingredient used in LemaĆ®tre Chocolates’ new line. Hayden can’t believe that conscientious Adrienne would make that mistake.

And between chocolate body scrubs, cocoa mud baths, and a non-stop frenzy of chocolate-based treats, Hayden starts to suspect that she, not Adrienne, was the intended target. Finding a killer among the rival chocolatiers and potential suspects won’t just be satisfying—it might save her life…

Review:

Hmm...chocolate, San Francisco, a lovable female lead, a handy body guard/friend/male interest, and more chocolate. Can one really go wrong? I literally read this book in one sitting, as it was so much fun! If you love the Bay Area, you'll recognize all the haunts. If you love chocolate, do NOT, I repeat NOT read this book on an empty stomach. You WILL end up craving sweets! The story is an enjoyable romp of a mystery that will satisfy you on all reading levels, including the included recipe! You will learn so much about the art of chocolate making, that your head may spin, but you'll also learn to appreciate it more! The book is a funny read that will leave you laughing out loud and wishing Hayden was off on her next adventure already!

The second book in this new series, Dangerously Dark, will come out in October of this year. I can't wait!
