Product Review: Francois et Mimi Double Hammock Fruit Bowl

Disclosure / Disclaimer: I received this book, free of charge, from Francois et Mimi, via Tomoson, for review purposes on this blog. No other compensation, monetary or in kind, has been received or implied for this post. Nor was I told how to post about it

Today I have a great gift idea,
or one for you to spruce up YOUR kitchen with:

Francois et Mimi Double Hammock Fruit Bowl empty

This chrome finish hammock style fruit bowls comes unassembled, but is SO easy, even a 7 yr old can put it together in about 2.5 seconds (Miss Grace did!). Looks pretty neat doesn't it?

And here is what it looks like on a real counter, with fruit in it:

Looks really cool doesn't it?

As you can see, it isn't exactly SMALL. Rather on the large size! Course if your family is like ours, and loves to have lots of fresh fruit handy, then this is THE storage bowl for you! As you can see it is about 14.5 inches tall and almost as wide as the slow cooker next to it. So it will need a fair amount of real estate on your counter, or table. It can easily hold a large bunch of bananas on the top and a bag of apples (plus) on the bottom. And once you add fruit to it, it becomes a piece of art!

Miss Grace loves how easy it is to get at the apple that she wants, and I love how the fruit is lasting longer, as it isn't getting smooshed or banged around. AND having air circulation helps to keep all the fruit last longer. Always a plus! Remember to de-attach your bananas, when you get them home from each other at the stem, as it will also help them to last longer (I hadn't done that yet, when I took the pictures, as we had just got back from the store).

So if you're looking for a great Valentine's Day that keeps on giving, be sure to check out this great Double Hammock Fruit Bowl from Farncois et Mimi!
