The book starts out with the basics of Duct Tape and tools needed for the projects in the book, then it starts on the skills you need, taking you step by step with full color pictures. this is SO important, especially for kids, to see what the tape shuld look like, each step of the way. The book then gets into different projects, again with full color pictures and easy to follow steps.
The projects start off simple and then get harder, for older kids and adults. Forest also includes some of his artwork to inspire crafters to new heights with this unconventional art medium! This is a great book for Winter doldrums, Spring break fun and to keep the kids occupied over Summer! It would be a fun book to include in the Easter basket for pre-teens, along with some rolls of colorful duct tape!
About the Author:
Forest Walker Davis, "the tape guy," is an artist who works mainly with duct tape. Duck Brand has commissioned his work. He currently teaches a middle-school afterschool program, in which he encourages the students "to go beyond the wallet."
