Review:
This is definitely a varied collection, but every story truly speaks of the meaning of the true Easter story. You might be surprised to see tales from Tolstoy alongside Lewis and and Wallace, but they offer up a true UNIVERSAL meaning to Holy Week and Easter. Reading through them while sitting with my dad, while he was in the hospital, this past week, I laughed and smiled, and realized what a wonderful collection it truly is! If God's will was for Jesus to die on the cross, to save mankind their sins, then what better way to honor that devotion, than with an anthology of works that spans eras and countries? This book would be a lovely family gift, perfect for telling a story each day during Holy Week from it, for family sharing and discussion! It would also be great for pastors and other church members, to thank them for their devotion!
